Management Skills to Promote and Support Good Mental Health at Work
Since Covid-19 rates of depression have doubled in Great Britain,* with one in five adults experiencing some form of depression during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in June 2020. Depression and anxiety are among the most common types of mental disorders experienced by adults in Great Britain, so it is important that your managers understand mental health issues and have the skills to support their people effectively, without burning themselves out at the same time.
These workshops build your people skills to help you identify the signs of someone struggling to cope, how to address concerns appropriately and how best to support people while in work, while protecting themselves from becoming too involved and burning out.
The cost of not addressing mental health at work is £1,500 per employee** can you afford to do nothing?
Who is it for?
Business leaders and managers who want to improve their understanding of mental health issues while building their confidence in supporting people with poor mental health.
