Our commitment…
We commit to provide experienced trainers and facilitators to run the workshops approximately every four weeks. We will appropriately challenge your leaders and managers to consider the effectiveness of their current approach and how they can apply their learning to their current leadership challenges.
Coaching:
Coaching is an integral part of this training programme. From session two we encourage peer coaching while working on live issues to help embed coaching behaviours into everyday practice.
Your manager’s commitment…
Your managers are asked to:
- Be prepared to participate fully in all training sessions.
- Be prepared to apply their learning back into the workplace after each session.
- Commit to the full 12-month programme to ensure effective group cohesion.
- Attend twelve x half-day workshops.
- Bring the drive and commitment to put learning into practice back in the workplace
Venue & Timings…
Sessions will run from 9am and finish at 12.30pm. Venue is to be confirmed
The final session will run for an extra hour to allow us to celebrate everyone’s success and present the trainees with their certificates of achievement. We will invite you and their direct line managers to join us for this presentation and to celebrate together over a buffet lunch.
Quality Assured – Institute of Leadership Accredited
The Institute of Leadership has accredited this 12 month programme. Your managers are enrolled as Student Members of the Institute after completion of between 4-6 modules. Upon successful completion of all the modules, they are then upgraded to Professional Member* and are able to use post-nominals MIoL. The Institute of Leadership membership enables your manager to access a variety of online resources and e-learning to help with their continued professional development.
Trainees set their own goals at the start of the programme and are encouraged to review these as a minimum at months 6 and 12.
Each workshop ends with action planning to ensure learning is transferred to the workplace as quickly as possible and progress is reviewed monthly.
One to One Coaching Tools
Our programme includes two impact and motivation tools: the GC Index and Motivational Maps®.
The GC Index helps individuals to identify where they can make the most impact in their roles and any areas for development. It measures 5 key areas to show where they naturally like to make the most contribution at work, so they can better understand how to leverage their strengths and lead with confidence.
It is not a personality assessment; this is about understanding an individual’s tendency to gravitate towards certain tasks that they have the skills and energy for and how these strengths can be harnessed. Understanding their own profile makes it easier to communicate how they work best and to appreciate the different strengths of others.
We also use Motivational Maps® and each participant will have a one-to-one Motivational Map session to uncover what truly drives them. These sessions help individuals to understand how to increase their own motivation as well as their satisfaction and effectiveness at work. This powerful tool can also provide clear opportunities to enhance team engagement, collaboration and performance.
The GC Index and Motivational Maps® can add immense value for organisations seeking to understand and enhance individual and team dynamics.
