Do You Plan to Help Your Managers Realise Their Leadership Potential in 2024 and beyond?
A new open programme for Cambridge Colleges is starting soon! The venue for the programme is yet to be confirmed.
The programme has been running since 2015, and while we regularly review and update the content, it continues to be based on the HSE & CIPD Management Competence Framework.

Our commitment…
We commit to providing experienced trainers and facilitators to run the workshops approximately every four weeks.
Coaching:
Coaching is an integral part of this training programme. We encourage peer coaching while working on live issues from session two to help embed coaching behaviours into your management practice.
Your manager’s commitment…
Your managers are asked to:
- Be prepared to participate fully in all training sessions
- Be prepared to apply their learning back into the workplace after each session
- Commit to the full 12-month programme to ensure effective group cohesion
- Take twelve x half-days out from the workplace to attend workshops
- Bring the drive and commitment to put learning into practice back in the workplace
Venue & Timings…
Girton College Cambridge
9am – 12.30pm modules 1 to 11
9am – 1.30pm module 12 with lunch
Twelve x mornings released from the workplace to attend workshops and time to apply the learning back to the workplace
Quality Assured
Trainees set their own goals at the start of the programme and are encouraged to review these regularly, as a minimum at months 6 and 12.
Each workshop ends with action planning to ensure learning is transferred to the workplace as quickly as possible and progress is reviewed monthly.
Institute of Leadership Accredited
The Institute of Leadership has accredited this training, so your managers are enrolled as Student Members of the Institute after completing the first three modules, they are then upgraded to Professional Member at the end of the programme, and are able to use post-nominals MIoL.
Self-Awareness: Tools for Improved Performance
Great leaders are self-aware, they recognise their strengths and areas for development, and they also recognise that others do not think or behave in the same way as them. They constantly seek to understand themselves, and what makes others tick.
Game Changer Index…
The The GC Index® (aka The Game Changer Index), is a psychometric tool that aims to identify how people at all levels make their best impact at work. Managers receive a report and individual coaching session with Jacqui.
Motivational Maps…
We have teamed up with Sarah Stones of Plain Sailing Motivation, who provides each delegate with an individual Motivational Map and coaching session.
By integrating insights from Motivational Maps and the Game Changer Index, your people will gain a deeper understanding of themselves and their teams, be better able to optimize individual and collective performance, and drive positive organisational change.
